How do you recognise a “silent crime”? How do you begin to repair it? Join Siobhan Hobbs, hosted by Joanne Kinslor, to explore these questions in the context of sexual violence during the Kosovo conflict in the first of a two-part series convened by Brenda Tronson.
Siobhan Hobbs is an expert in gender justice and international law, having held positions including a deployment to the UN Commissions of Inquiry on Human Rights Violations in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (with her role including special responsibilities for gender issues) and Eritrea, Legal and Programme Director at Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice in The Hague and Gender Adviser with UN Women’s Project Office in Kosovo.
Our speaker will join us via zoom.
