Joanne Kee is an arts leader who has worked in Australia and internationally as a Producer, Artistic Director and senior arts manager. She is committed to providing platforms for artists to create innovative and transformational work which challenges and inspires audiences by building capacity and skills opportunities in an equitable and inclusive manner.
Currently she is the Executive Producer of Riverside’s National Theatre of Parramatta. Formerly Joanne was the Artistic Director of Sydney Improvised Music Association and co-founded the Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival. Other leadership roles include The Song Company, Sydney Opera House, Carnivale multicultural festival, Jazzgroove and Editor of Jazz Australia.
Joanne is currently on the theatre board for Create NSW and a Board member of Sydney Improvised Music association. Formerly as Chair of Ausdance NSW she was instrumental in setting up Critical Path, a choreographic space. She has been a board member of Sydney Fringe Festival and Music Australia
