This year’s Rose Scott Women Writers’ Festival (RSWWF) promises a unique and diverse exploration of prominent women voices in literature, across fiction and non-fiction, in print, poetry, performance and digital media. It will be held on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September at The Women’s Club, Sydney.
You're invited to join the RSWWF evening Soiree events; a grand celebration of stories, songs, and the spoken word. Curated by luminaries from the literary and arts communities, each soiree is a heartfelt homage to female writers' enduring spirit and creativity. Whether it's the allure of 1930's cabaret, a gathering of independent voices, or soulful folk melodies, there's an evening tailored to your literary tastes.
Friday 15th September 8pm to 9:30pm
Dive into a literary mosaic with RSWWF Guest Curator Adrienne Ferreira of Bravewords as she introduces you to some of the most riveting independent writers in Western Sydney. Let their bold voices challenge, inspire, and enthral you as they share tales that bridge worlds and resonate deeply.

Experience "SEND FOR NELLIE," a captivating cabaret work by award-winning playwright Alana Valentine. Get ready to be serenaded with Nellie’s favourite classics like ‘Dinah Lee’, ‘Stormy Weather’, and ‘Am I Blue’. Between the soulful melodies, hear her riveting stories, some heart-wrenchingly real and others brimming with humour, from her time on Sydney’s theatre circuit.
