Miss Stephanie McFarlane was appointed as the Honorary Secretary in November 2019 and has been a Member since June 2016. Stephanie is the Convenor of the Evening Cinema Circle since 2019, a Member on Duty, regular attendee at First Friday at Five and has previously hosted Melbourne Cup events.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has an extensive background in financial services. She is currently working at Ernst & Young in the role of Global Account Manager, responsible for managing the sales relationships of priority banking and insurance clients.
Stephanie has also held senior account management and business development roles within ANZ Institutional and Corporate banking divisions in Australia and New Zealand. Over the past few years, she has also held similar roles for retail and fashion brands including Myer and Giorgio Armani.
In addition to her financial services career, Stephanie undertook additional study at FBI Fashion College in Sydney and holds a Certificate IV in Fashion Business. Stephanie achieved a lifelong ambition and established a consulting business called The Fashion Consultant. Services include event management, personal styling and fashion consulting to corporate individual clients and large Australian fashion retailers.
Stephanie is a long-term volunteer and ambassador for Dress for Success Sydney. Roles have included Team Leader for the Success Collection, where she was responsible for the development and management of fundraising events that formed part of the Bargains & Bubbles committee. In addition, a trainer and facilitator of the 'Styling for Interview' workshops to assist clients back into the workplace by offering personal styling and interview skill-based training and support.
