Judith joined The Women’s Club in 2016 and was appointed a director in 2023. She is co-convenor of two circles: The Writing Circle and Let’s Play Music. Judith is a country member, having moved from Sydney to the Southern Highlands four years ago with her partner and two miniature schnauzers. Her favourite activities are playing the piano and writing – she has completed her first crime fiction novel and enjoys writing short stories ending with a twist.
Professionally, Judith is an organisational psychologist and has worked across the public and private sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Through coaching and education, she has assisted numerous executives to build their leadership and team building capabilities. Judith has participated in career development for women initiatives, senior executive skills development for the NSW public service and organisational development projects for AusAid in Samoa. Currently, she is providing a psychology counselling service for veterans and their families through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Previously, when employed as an associate professor at Western Sydney University, Judith was active in institutional governance, leadership and research. She published widely in the areas of leadership, organisational culture and the causes of accidents and disasters. Until recently, she was an adjunct professor at Griffith University. Judith has a PhD from the University of New South Wales.
