Lorraine was appointed to the Board in September 2024. She joined TWC in 2022, attracted by the vibrant, welcoming club and drawn by its commitment to supporting women's intellectual and cultural pursuits and social justice.

Before coming a Director, Lorraine contributed as a member of the Finance Audit and Risk Committee.  As Treasurer, Lorraine chairs the FAR Committee, providing strategic financial oversight during a period of operational change. She is a champion of inclusiveness, working to ensure TWC welcomes women from diverse backgrounds.

Lorraine brings over 30 years of leadership experience in health governance and not-for-profit sectors. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Chartered Accountant, with qualifications including a BAppSc (Physiotherapy), MBA, and PhD.

Her board experience includes Chair of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council and Non-Executive Director roles at The Benevolent Society and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a former Professor and Executive Dean, she has driven workforce innovation and championed equity in health and education.
