The Women’s Club presents the Salon Series; a consolidated program of events presenting topics and speakers from the arts and culture, media, justice and democracy, politics and science. The format is sit-down cabaret style and a light supper is provided.

Renowned as one of Australia’s most distinguished television producers, Anita has overseen some of the nation’s most credible and cutting-edge programs. From 60 Minutes to Enough Rope, The Today Show and The Gruen Transfer, Anita’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the media landscape saw her headhunted in 2013 to manage the Australian arm of one of the largest commercial television production companies in the world, ITV Studios.
As one of a handful of local female Managing Directors in Australian broadcasting, Anita gained an even broader view of the industry.
Consequently, Anita has been invited onto numerous boards, including Chair of the ABC Advisory Council, Co-Chair of Women in Media, a Board Member of Chief Executive Women (CEW), Documentary Australia, the UK based Duke of Edinburgh International Award and Associate Member of the Australian Communications & Media Authority.
***About Nicole Sheffield***
Nicole joined Wesfarmers as Managing Director, OneDigital in November 2021, leading the Group’s data and digital ecosystem. She has responsibility for the OnePass membership program, OneData business and Catch.com.au.
Prior to joining Wesfarmers, Nicole held a number of executive roles in some of Australia’s best known businesses operating in retail, digital and media. Most recently she was the Executive General Manager, Community & Consumer, at Australia Post where she led the customer experience across the Australia Post retail network of 4000+ post offices, digital channels including the app and website, and the customer contact centre. Her previous roles include Chief Digital Officer and Managing Director, Digital Networks at News Corp Australia, overseeing digital strategy, audience and subscription growth, and Chief Executive of NewsLifeMedia, leading the lifestyle publishing division.
Nicole is a regular speaker and commentator on business and digital and is a Director of Chief Executive Women. She has previously served as Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Advisory Council, and Chair of the Interactive Advertising Bureau Australia. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and a Masters of Business from the University of Technology Sydney.
