Experience the finest Australian wines crafted by female winemakers at The Women’s Club Women in Wine series, back for a second year in partnership with Women and Revolution. This unique event series celebrates the art of winemaking and showcases the talents of women in the industry. Savour the flavours of each expertly crafted wine and discover the stories behind the labels.
On Monday 26 June, we’re thrilled to welcome Sierra Reed, a talented winemaker from Sierra Wines, in conversation with Bridget Raffal, Vice-President of Sommeliers Australia, who will expertly guide us through wine-pairing.
Sierra’s journey in wine began in New Zealand whilst filming with the Family of Twelve, where she was inspired to transform her passion for wine into a career in winemaking. Sierra made her first wines in February 2015 and is now the custodian of the picturesque Spring Creek vineyard in Torquay in the Geelong GI. The site comprises 1.5 hectares of land and its 50-year-old vines grow atop fossilised limestone in the coastal, maritime climate.
We’re proud to partner with Women and Revolution, a charitable organisation working to overcome the barries to gender equality in the wine world and promoting the next generation of women in wine. Together we’re elevating the voices and talents of women in the wine industry and encouraging professional and personal growth, building connection and community.
